I stepped away and WIIISH. Fire. Then, to make it worse, I stuck it in the sink & turned on the water. 5 hours later the fire trucks pulled away and I thought my mom was going to kill me. Good times…

The other night we had a movie night in with Ethan. He’s all into Star Wars now. So we bought the entire set and started with episode I. I even let him do the popping! How does it know? He kept asking when the popcorn app told him it was done. Magic buddy, it’s magic! Then of course this happened:

I am a popcorn addict! And I like burnt popcorn.
I didn’t burn the whole house down, but I did burn our kitchen. I was getting the oil hot to make french fries and I forgot about it and it caught the kitchen on fire. My dad ran out the door with the pot and tripped on a rug in the kitchen. Spilled the oil all over himself. He had 3rd degree burns all over his face, neck, chest, arms and hands. I was 15. Boy, that was a bad day. lol
Yum, feed me! I don’t even like popcorn but this sure the heck looks good!!
Popcorn is a great snack for movie night. We do that regularly!
