Easy Easter Candy Bark
Easter Candy! We all love it. Shame these sweet, colorful pretty little pieces only come around once a year, huh? I don’t know about you, but I can grab a bag of Hershey’s Easter Candy and pop them in my mouth like… Well, like candy! Today, let’s dial it up a notch! Easter Candy Bark uses just 2 ingredients, no mess and is fun for the kiddos to help make it the kitchen! Let’s grab a few things and get to barkin’! (see what I did there?)
The thing I love most about Easter Candy Bark is that is looks kinda fancy schmancy but it’s super to make. I simply melted some Almond Bark and mixed in these juicy Jolly Rancher flavored Jelly Beans. Just melt bark in a microwaveable bowl for 20 second intervals and stir so you do not burn it. Keep going until it’s creamy and smooth.
Line a jelly roll pan or cookie sheet with some wax paper. Pour the whole kit and Kaboodle in. Refrigerate for about 3 hours until bark is hard. You can then pop it out easily by pulling the wax paper up. Cut in squares or break into ‘chunks’. There’s no right or wrong way to go there. We made a couple batches. Ethan took 1 to school on Friday to give his teacher before Spring break. It made a really cute gift! We already polished off the 2nd batch too. Yummy stuff! The 3rd batch Ethan wants to save and leave for the Easter Bunny. It was a great idea. I’m am positive he’ll be hippity hoppin’ down the Bunny Trail a pretty happy guy the rest of his route!
Do you make Easter Candy Bark? What’s your favorite kind of candy to use?

My favorite Easter tradition is the Easter egg hunt. I can remember how much fun we had, not just hunting them, but making them the night before. My favorite recipe is the peanut butter bunnycakes. Not only are they cute, but the kids would have fun making them.
