Spoon With Me – Yoplait Greek Yogurt Taste Off Challenge
So, when you think of Greek Yogurt, you think, what? Sour? Too tart? Just… off, right? I know! Me too! So, when Yoplait asked me to do this little taste off between their new Blended Greek Yogurt and Chobani Fruit On The Bottom, I really didn’t have high hopes for either really. I mean, I’m cool cooking with it, the Tandori Chicken & Yogurt Sauce was super yummy. But eat it plain, for like, a snack? Um, no.

But, I’m down for a challenge. So, I had my husband set me up. 2 of my new Anthropologie bowls. Yoplait Greek Yogurt in 1 bowl, Chobani in the other. He tipped the labels down so I couldn’t cheat and it was on. Right off the bat, I could see a difference. I mean, there’s actual chunks of fruit right there. Not that jelly like stuff. That was a good sign. I like the chunky kind. The other one was also a bit runny. Which, to me is kind of a turn off. But, to make it fair, I’d have to go all out and actually taste them.
I grabbed some spoons and dug in. The Yoplait was sweeter, didn’t have that sour taste I’ve come to expect from Greek yogurt. To be fair, the Chobani wasn’t sour-ish either. Just not quite as flavorful. Maybe, it was the chunks? Maybe because I already had eyeballed which one I thought would taste better. I can’t be certain. But, clearly, based on the empty bowl… Yoplait won. No! It was because it didn’t taste like the fake flavor! It just hit me! That jelly like stuff you have to stir-up makes it taste kind of ‘fake’! The Yoplait didn’t have that! Huh…
Seems I’m not alone, either. In a national taste test, Yoplait Greek Blended Blueberry beat Chobani Blueberry Fruit On The Bottom! Go, grab yourself this Yoplait Coupon and give it a go for yourself! I’d love to know what you think after you have your own #Tasteoff!

I also was not fond of all the mixing I had to do with the Chobani. Yoplait was tops at our house as well.
