Every year, it’s the same thing. I have all these grand plans to get my holiday shopping done early. Be done before Christmas Eve. Tree up, presents wrapped and have the cutest looking house on the block. And then, it happens. I fall short on money and time. But guess what, this year, that’s totally not happening! I discovered people just like me! Oh yes! There’s whole tribes of mom’s with big hopes and then… SPLAT. Doesn’t happen. But this go ’round, I’ve got a fail safe plan! Kmart Layaway! My holiday shopping and decorating has a back-up buddy!

Heard the news? There’s a condition that’s been going around. Every holiday shopping season!  It’s called ‘Layaway Regret.’ Experts describe it as the opposite of the other common condition ‘Buyer’s Remorse.’ Many claim to experience symptoms of general discomfort, mental anguish, stomach churning anxiety and many sleepless nights. The main cause of ‘Layaway Regret’ is excuses. Lucky for you, this year can be different! Kmart Layaway has debunked every excuse in the book, even mine!

Excuse #1: I’ve never done Layaway before, it seems like too much effort.
Debunked: It’s all in your head. At Kmart, Layaway is not at all hard work. Whether you have 1 item or 100 items , you can place almost everything on your list on layaway! All without paying a service fee, too. Now through 11/23. Plus, you can make payments in store, online or using a mobile phone. Super handy, right? Options for everyone! Eight or 12 weeks later (depending on your contract) pick up your items and you’re good to go! Bonus: After you figure out how easy it is, you can Layaway all year round at Kmart! It’s not just for holiday shopping my friends!

Excuse #2: I don’t have time during the Holiday season to Layaway.
Debunked: Plan what you need of now. Place it on Layaway. And BAM -holiday shopping done early! You’ll pay for it over time and have it just in time for gift giving! No rushing at the last minute. Go ahead, ask your family and friends what they want this year and start on that list. The sooner you Layaway, the better chance you have at getting the hottest toys and electronics locked away before everyone else. Bonus: You can relax over the holidays and avoid crazy lines!

Excuse #3: I’m not a ShopYourWay Member.
Debunked: Now, that’s hardly an excuse silly. Signing up for the Sears and Kmart rewards program, ShopYourWay only takes a few minutes. And besides, you don’t need to be a ShopYourWay Rewards Member to use Kmart Layaway. But, you will get MORE. Always sweet! Members earn points on every purchase. Those points can then be redeemed the next time you shop.  Members also have access to secret sales and extra discounts (secret club!!) which helps you stay on track with your holiday budget. If you’re opening a Layaway contract as a ShopYourWay Member, your minimum purchase fee is waived through 9/21.

See! I’m totally not alone here! Kmart Layaway has got it all figured out. Now that all those excuses have been debunked, there’s absolutely no reason to suffer from ‘Layaway Regret’.
