We Follow The Popcorn Trail To Find The Best Kids Shows On Netflix
I’m happy to write this sponsored post on behalf of NETFLIX so I can tell you about the best kids shows and all the popcorn in my couch.
And my car. And my bed. And pretty much everywhere. Watching your favorite, greatest, most best kids shows ever requires popcorn, right? And so it goes…
Being one of those parents who doesn’t leave the house to work gives you superpowers. You stay home and work, cook, clean, and act as a chauffeur. You’re also a financial planner, stylist, hairdresser, psychologist (thank goodness for those student loans!) And then do a bit of entertainment and social scheduling on the side. It’s exhausting. This is where technology comes in as a handy helper! Ethan’s super tech savvy for a small fry. (he totally gets that from me) And, has figured out how to catch his favorite kids shows on Netflix. I gotta, say… it works out well.
Streaming The Best Kids Shows – Netflix Style
So easy a kid can do it! I’ve had the free app downloaded on my computer for awhile. We added it to the new Samsung Galaxy Note tablet I got at Christmas as well. (loooove!) You can also stick it right on your iPad or any gaming device. Hop over to Netflix.com, click the icon, and TADA you’re good to go find all your fav kids shows in about 2.3 seconds. I had Ethan put his mad tech skillz to use last night and screen shot what the boy genius does. It automatically brings up suggestions based on watching history. He’s learned to go right to the ‘Just For Kids‘ section which only has family favorite shows for kids 2-12. You can see he’s been hitting Batman Beyond and Jake and The Neverland Pirates lately. Super ‘boys’ kids shows! He watched a few more episodes of that while I finished some work (and took a 10 minute cat nap) It’s awesome that it’s visually based so he doesn’t stray into categories he shouldn’t. It’s way too hot here in Vegas to be outside all day. So this is great when he comes in to cool off and get his snack on. Also, we totally take this along in the car for ‘those rides‘ and he can get his mind onto shows with my phone and his mouth just a wee bit quieter. Bonus, right?
But Wait! There’s More!
Since he’s still a small fry, we try to get in as many Family Movie Nights as possible. (popcorn in bed anyone?) I figure we may have a good 5 years left and they fly by. We squeeze in about 3 or 4 a month still which is pretty awesome. The last one was Dr. Seuss The Lorax. I tried to fight the good fight for The Aritsocats, (a true love story!) But, he said we’ve almost worn that out. A simple search brings it right up, click the photo and it starts playing. Kids shows are so not just for kids!
Ok, your turn… What are you watching on TV with your family? Netflix has family favorites from Disney, Disney Jr., Hasbro, Cartoon Network and Dreamworks that are available to stream anytime, anywhere.
And streaming is easier than you think! Download the free app on your iPad, click on the Netflix app on any gaming device, go to the website on your computer – and you’re in business. Check it out here!
See, aren’t you glad I was able to write this sponsored post about awesome kids shows on behalf of NETFLIX now too? Learn something new everyday!

We have been a subscriber to Netflix for at least a couple years now. I think its definitely worth the cost. We use it all the time.

I think I’m a bigger Disney fan than my boys. They have their favorites, though, and a good family friendly movie is loved by them all.

I love kids shows too! I had a huge collection before my son was even born. He loves watching Netflix because so many of his favorites are on it. I like the kids section because I know he’s only seeing what he should be seeing.

We love our Netflix! We don’t get the DVD’s delivered anymore, but we still do the streaming. Even our 12 year old sometimes checks out their kids shows, but I swear we probably watch stuff in every theme or genre on Netflix (and on our computers, our TV, and our iphones).

We love Netflix and can’t wait to renew our subscription this summer! It will be perfect for those rainy days. I can’t wait to surprise my kids with it, they love The Lorax, Tinkerbelle, Alvin & The Chipmunks and more.
