Sassy Saving Money Shopping With Coupons 11/06/12

First up, let’s start with our trip to Target. They had a few ways we were saving money shopping with coupons to take advantage of. Quite a few times a year, they have this awesome deal on Glade. If you purchase XX amount of items you earn a $5.00 gift card. Also, they had the same type of deal on the Dunkin Donuts Coffee. And, we took them up on it! So, we made 2 transactions. The 1st being the Glade and Coffee, then used the gift cards to offset the cost of the 2nd transaction. Here’s what we bought:

Our next stop was Albertson’s. We like to shop here because they have a much better selection of meat than our other local markets. It’s a bit more expensive, but, there’s just somethings I am OK paying a bit more for and meat is one of them. They had a good sale, of course. But if we purchased the same meat in the same quantity at Smith’s (Kroger) it would have been slightly less. (Yeah, the items in the pics are a bit mixed together. It was very late at night and the bed was calling us to get to sleep already) Here’s what we bought at both stores:
